A 'just in case' question

i work m-f driving on days, with the occasional saturday o/t shift.however,i worked a shift last sunday, then will be working this m-f as usual.
if i end up running out of time on friday, say 1700 hours, when would i legally be able to start driving back to the depot?

You need to start your weekly rest no later than 144 hrs after you started your shift on Sunday, so next question is what time did you start Sunday ?

Obviously watch your weekly rest hours .

started work at 0600 hrs on the sunday BB

If you have a reduced daily rest available then 0200 sat am but be done by 0600
If need 11 off because all 3 reduced daily rests have been used since 0600 sunday then 0400 to 0600

thanks ROG…made it back with an hour left
