heres the scenario, i have started at 05.00 hours, done 3 hours driving, im at my second drop at 10.30, it usually takes about 45 mins to tip. do i drop everything at 11.00 for my break?? i think this rule is sackless. in the past i have usually been able to get my drops done before my driving time is up and stop on the way back where i can have quality rest, now i have to stop when i dont want to even when i dont feel tired. just like to add that i will not tip on break to cheat, and always try to do things legally. drive safely chums
the rule is laid down that you will take a rest after working 6 hours
without a rest. so unless you change your way of tipping, after starting work
at 0500hrs–at 1100hrs you need to take a rest ,tostay legal
You could always sit in the cab saying you legally require a break and let someone else tip it for you 
.
This is why the RTD / WTD is such a stupid rule, trying to juggle 2 very complicated sets of rules without flouting the other.
If you take too many breaks that can eat into your working time and spreadover.
