Car driving hours, as an employee are primarily subject to Road Traffic law, Reckless/Careless Driving should anything go wrong, but in Sept 2003 the HSE issued a booklet called Driving at Work which essentially places an onus upon each employer to consider the safety of any employee who drives, rides, or evens cycles, in the course of their employment.
