hi i put my question in the wrong forum,soz
i did have the list of wincanton approved unions i think it was 4 but just can not find it,does any one have a link or know? We have an issue at our depot which does not have union recognition and acas say that one of the approved unions may offer to step in as are recognized elsewhere in the wincanton group,many thanks in advance
I believe Unite are, from what I gather they have fought on issues with Wincanton before re. job losses.
I am fairly sure that USDAW is recognised as a preferred union.
If it is Wincanton who run the marks and Spencer place at the top of the M606 it is certainly USDAW

many thanks , it was on winnies web site but has “disappeared” thanks to all,will submit outcome if helpfull as is predominately about custom practice which can affect almost all truckers especially with EU directive on average pay for hols rather than standard pay and regular (over 2 yrs) of overtime becoming a contract rather than overtime, is interesting but a whole lot of work
You can join any union you want, remember that.
