For those of you who have been following the progress of the new bridge or are concerned about a better way to cross the Hudson other than the GWB, I notice the new bridge has got so advanced that I think the northbound side is almost ready to open, the ends have been connected and the street lamps and overhead signal gantries are all in place, I can see they are planning on opening that side well before the southbound side which is far from even being linked up and there are still vast gaps in it.
