Tippers hitting bridges.Just watched a news video of a tipper hitting an overpass on the 401 in Toronto.
Having had very limited experience on tippers, probably about 2mths spaced out, a week here, a fortnight there over 34yrs. Even pulling away after tipping a load on concrete/cement and letting the tipper come back down while driving slowly, I've felt the whole truck/trailer swinging. How is it possible, that, even disregarding the fact that the driver don't use his mirrors much, would you not feel the whole rig swinging around at highway speeds when the centre of gravity is so high, even empty ? Good punctuation and grammar, makes the difference between helping your uncle Jack, off a horse & helping your uncle, jack off a horse.
Re: Tippers hitting bridges.no excuse it handles totally different you have to be drunk etc not to notice
