Is my Class 1 and ADR valid in North America ?

I have heard you need a test for Class 1 , is it hard etc … any help greatly appreciated

Worthless over here , although your experience could help when job hunting . Canada isn’t too hard to get into , but unless you’re married to a U.S. Citizen forget all notions about trucking in the land of the stupid .

Honestly, you have to be very lucky to drive here and find a company which will consider your UK experience. Be prepared with plenty of savings to start. You will have to take your license again. No jobseekers allowance, no medical, nothing. When I say savings, I mean at least 10k. It will go quick. On the plus side, if you job hunt, knock on doors and persevere it will pay off. Get with the right company and you can make good money but it’s not a cakewalk by any means :smiling_face:
