Failed my first class 1 test on two points : reverse and observation.
Then went out on three afternoons and brushed up on reversing.
Sat my second test on wednesday.
Started reverse and moved across to bay.
Shunted forwards to line up and guess what?
Mind went blank i took three shunts and clipped kerb on second shunt
then on third went back and parked trailer dead centre of garage with
rear of trailer in dead centre of marked bay.
Went round course no other major marks.
I failed on reverse.Examiner said excellent ride apart from reverse.
Third time lucky?
ps motto is now if at first you dont succeed!
Oh dave, sorry to hear ya failed mate… what a bummer after such a good drive too.

Sorry to hear of the fail Dave. These things happen. Glad to see you’re staying positive. It can be a little disheartening when the examiner says “I’me sorry…”

Sorry to hear that, there are drivers out there that have got a full licence and still cant reverse. I know that there has to be a certain level to pass the test but the reversing comes with experience. Bad luck again.
