customer - i rang them yesterday (tues) and confirmed it by fax at 0830 today
me - i’ll await the phone call then

friday - more zilch

me - no brrr

For sure, but if you want the job, then pester the agency if you know about it allready and ask them for it. If you didn’t want it, then you were spot on . Didn’t get a call from mine one day and arranged work elswhere. 08-15 following morning I got a 'phone call from them. “Why arn’t you at ■■■ today ducks? You’ve got an 08-00 start.” (Being spoken to by female in case your interested ).

“Didn’t get a call from you last night, so I’ve arranged work elswhere.”

“Start time was given to you.”

“No it wasn’t. No missed calls on either of my 'phones. Don’t give me that ■■■. You know full well if I’m given a start time/agree to do a job, I’m their unless I’ve called you to cry off sick.”

“Oh, sorry about that Luvvie . Can you get over their?”

“Watch my lips.”

“Oh, okay, don’t worry about it. I’ve know you long enough to know you don’t BS us and are extremley reliable.”

Typical agency really and these arn’t normally too bad .
