Went out on Saturday to do some local runs with a
regular driver for a company i am hoping to work for.
What an eye opener.
Learnt in " M " reg Daf 75 went out in " Y " reg Scania 124 420
what a difference ? no loud engine noise, gears that
went in first time, cruise control, radio you could actually
hear etc.
Learnt all about Curtainsider,Strapping Loads,weight
distribution, and rear air suspension, even trailer
brakes that you apply by pulling out a button instead
of winding on a ratchet.
One day with an experienced driver does,nt make
you an expert in anything but it certainly teaches you a lot.
Yes my first day out was with a sainsbury’s driver trainer, and it helped me loads, its just nice to have someone there to fire those questions at.
