I only have chicks to farm experience form a rival company, can only tell you what I understand form what I be told and see.
Depending on the title you might have to help catch the chicken and put in the trays, but everything is forklift on and off at each end.
At the slaughter house you will have to wash the lorry out before reloading clean empty trays for the next farm.
My company trucks carry around 9,000 chicken, ( if I remember correctly) a shed load of chicken can be any where form 23000 to 50000ish chickens so if you not catching can be waiting a while.
You will need to sit a exam for poultry transport to be able to trips over set amount of miles.
Can’t comment on their pay and if they do anything different to us but hope this help in some way
