Eyesight Question

It’s been a while since i last posted, Had an eye test and got the D4 filled out at the same time.

Uncorrected shown as “CF” whatever that means , and corrected at “6/4” , The Form that goes with it says it needs to be equal or better than 6/9 , so i assume i’m ok?

Don’t want to pay for the expensive medical if it’s not good enough! They do make eyesight standards complicated enough dont they.

I believe that uncorrected vision you have to be able to read the huge letter at the top of the Snellen chart with one eye and (I think) the second line with the other eye.

Pete

CF means you can count fingers, I gather it’s generally written with a distance (e.g. CF 1ft means you can count fingers from 1 foot)

DVLA will probably refuse the form as they need both acuities represented as numbers, and informal measurements like CF aren’t good enough

Get on a mobile, read the thread on insecure loads on the other board. If you can do that your eyesight is fine.
