More experienced drives with HIAB can make more money, but likely need a bit under your belt. If working for builders merchants, then don’t expect anymore.
At first place i worked there was one HIAB driver who did a lot of nights out and he was paid extra, but had a lot of experience on class 2 and hiab before he got there.
Ltd has a lot of potential pitfalls on tax and remember the amount you’re paid needs NI, income tax, SSP, pension, holiday pay taking off and be very careful about what you claim as expenses. Accountants dont have to pay the HMRC £1000s claim if they think you got it wrong…you do.
PAYE works better although it has more complications if working for multiple agencies. Not too sure how that works.
