How hard is it to drive a Ro/Ro lorry.
I have been driving a 19 toner with hiab for a builders merchant for 8 mouths now. I’ve seen a job going for a Ro/Ro driver local to were I live and its more money. I am thinking of applying but not sure how hard it is. Or if I should stick to hiab.

With some training you will be ok.
Just like an a speed crane you use. Level ish ground when tipping, dont try to pull bin on at an angle to the bin until you have experience.
Even then with experience I have seen some very bent truck hook lift bodys with drivers doing stunts like, wrong angle to the bin etc.
Bridge heights can be a problem, so watch your height.
Loose debris escaping from the bin, then hitting people or cars.
And the traffic planner, he can be a problem in this kind of work. Never enough hours in the day.
