Yet another driving hours/WTD question from a newbie

hi guys.

just wanted to clarify one thing.

i’ve worked on mutidrops, so you hardly do much driving. this is the scenario:

I start at 7.30am, other work for 15m to do checks etc and then i start doing deliveries. after about 5 hours, most driving i’ll have would be around 2-2,5h. at this point i’ll have my 45 minute break as I know my shift will be longer than 9 hours. card out around 6pm. and that’s all my breaks for the day.

was i doing it right ? does that one 45m break covers all regulations duties in that situation ?

Yes that’s fine, the break your having counts as a driving break and the break required for the RT(WT)R.

As long as you don’t do more than 6 hours working time before having the break and not more than 6 hours working time after the break you’re fine.
