Over 60 hours a week

Hello Lads, Just a quick question, according the law a maximum working time a week is 60 hours.
But I know a few lads from my place who’s doing 6 days of work every two weeks and they got 72 hours in 6 days or even more. Does this mean they breaking a law?

I working 12 hours a day on average, that’s 60 hours a week, does it mean I can’t do any overtime because I’m already reached my 60 hours?

I mean a work time.

Breaks/poa aren’t counted in the 60 hours. So you could do 72 hours legally.
