Hi all,Could anyone please shed some light on the below:
Driver holds a pre-1997 licence, and so has a D1 & D1E with 101 restrictions via default. The driver completed LGV CE in 1996 so holds a full Class 1 entitlement.
If this driver now passes a test for PCV D1 to lift the 101 restriction, would it automatically open the D1E entitlement and lift the 101 restriction as a result? Or would the driver need to then also pass their PCV D1E practical test?
I know that this would be the case if the driver completed his PCV D (Coach) licence (he would unlock DE, D1 & D1E as a result), but wanted to check if it was the same case for Minibus?

Passing D1 test and having C+E will give unrestricted D1 and D1+E
Does the driver already have D provisional ?
If no then when does their current D4 medical expire ?
