I’ll be going back to work soon (I hope so) after 2 months of sickness leave. So what to do with my manual entry for this period? Should it be rest or rather question mark and my sick note to be carried for next 28 days?

When you insert your driver card record the time from the end of the last shift to the start of the current shift as rest.
There’s no need to carry a sick note with you in the UK.
