Scania p series. T symbol

Been bugging me all weekend
Drove round Friday with the letter T on the dashboard.
Always assumed it was the sign for no tachograph inserted.
Yet I had my tachograph inside and I remember taking it out.

Come in Monday put tachograph in and no T symbol…
Any ideas? The mileage on the dash also reset it self while I was driving on Friday but back to normal Monday…

On the ones I’ve driven (no idea what version coop used), the T means the tacho has something to say and it’s like the little orange light on a DAF. Can be anything from overspeed to break needed soon, etc. If the dash has been playing up however, then it could be an electrical fault and meaningless. As long as it doesn’t reappear then just put it down to your boss being a skinflint and not buying a Volvo.

Don’t worry until your bosses sit you down and have the talk about when people get older and they start to forget things, sometimes minor, somethings more important… *

(* trust me, I know!)

Possibly your card or, more likely, tacho head needs a download?

In my experience it usually means the taco head wants your attention for one thing or another. I.e. overspeed acknowledgement [emoji846]

My experience is that the taco wants you to acknowage something overspend etc

It may also be for a prior notice on the tacho, like if someone has moved the truck round the yard with no card in for example
