hi guys new to this forum and new to driving hgv after 12 years in factory got an interview coming up with a big haulage firm just wondering what to expect I’m sure you guys seen this post a hundred times but can’t seem to find anything on it sorry… any way like I have said I have no experience and I’m a week out from class 1 lessons/test currently only hold my class 2 hiab and cpc and tacho card if anyone could help would be much appreciated been 14 years since my last interview haha thank you
Likely to be a test on taco rules and highway code road signs.
Possibly a bit about you and why you have applied and what you know about the company.
The main bit will be the assessment drive. Take your time and plenty of mirrors, like your test basically. A good walk round check before you go out as well.
Its likely to be a different vehicle than what you learned in so check you know what the buttons are/where everything is. As they know your new they may even show you this anyway.
