Driving A Skip About

I did skips for a few years and there are many pit falls to the job but if you think about what you are doing you will be fine, never listen to the customer when they tell you the last driver dropped it over there! If it looks dodgy don’t do it as dropping a skip on soft earth , man hole covers will cause you problems when collecting them.
Watch what the customer is putting in the skip (haz or liquids) it could affect your licence if stopped, the waste must always match the description on the waste transfer note. Stay legal.
heavy skips can slide about on the body if your not careful drive with care not like you have six more jobs to do before you can go home, slow and steady every time.
