Aldi Apprentice at middle aged?

Just after a bit of advice guys. Looking at a career change or call it mid life crisis. Been interested in trucks for a while… its now or never.

Stable job for last 10 years. I want to go for C+E but like many of here dont want to fall into trap of license but need experience or jumping from agency to agency etc etc.

I notice Aldi are offer driving apprenticeships starting off at £9.91 hr but guaranteed employment when passed. I messaged Aldi and they said the scheme is aimed at 17+ year olds but no age cap. Has anyone heard of someone middle aged going for apprenticeship■■?

HI,
I looked into apprenticeships a few years ago, If you can live on the reduced wage for the time period then I would suggest going for it. Apprenticeships (when properly done, not an excuse for cheap labour) are a fantastic way to be paid to do what you want to do. I have class 2 and if I could get the one you are suggesting then I would go for it. Now you have put it on here, there will likely be a good few folk trying. Good luck, whatever you choose.
ATB,
Tommy.
