So I’ve spoke with Peter through messenger about the ADR training.
I’m a relatively new driver with a big 2 months expierence.
I’m just wanting the general consensus on if I should get some more expierence driving before doing my ADR training.
You could get two answers with differing opinions. Both would be right as it’s down to the Company’s culture.
We have taken on new passes and put them through their ADR ourselves. Other places wouldn’t. Personally I’d rather have the right person with no ADR rather than a maybe person with ADR. Having said that, no one has ever made life worse for themselves by acquiring qualifications.
I will go for ADR if I’ll have C+E and funds for ADR. In the worst case you end up with no ADR job for a while but you have opportunity to get job where ADR is essential. As said earlier, it doesn’t hurt when you obtain another qualifications.
