To renew your HGV entitlement you just have to do the HGV medical, generally to drive commercially you will need to have a DQC and to obtain that you will need to do either 35 hours periodic training or mods 2 and 4 of the initial driver CPC.The short answer is, no you will not need to do the practical driving test again.
