Hiya mate, I would say that 14 hrs is plentiful. I passed in Aug 2017 with Pete’s Crew. I was had no experience of being in anything bigger than a Luton van. Failed C once and CE once.
Failed C due to misjudging traffic light, slammed on to avoid going through red.
Failed CE due to 3 shunts on reverse excercise.
After doing the tests it built the confidence knowing what I needed to work on, didn’t opt for anymore training just knew what would need for attention on restests.
PS I ain’t getting paid for this, just giving someone the sort of insight I wouldn’t mind when I was thinking of learning.
