Hi all,
I passed my class 1 test at tockwith training. I trained at dac training 5x tests, scania 9x, atkins 5x, then elmet driver 3x then passed with tockwith training, I was happy.
I drive a little volvo now at seniors darton. Curtain side jobs only local jobs and rdcs, tnt day trunks.
I meet many truckers at rdcs and truckstops. They surprised when they see an asian driving for seniors. Thanks aftab

If the OP is who I think he maybe, he also had dealings with us. The total number of tests exceeds 50. There was an article in Commercial Motor about him at the time. If the OP is a different fella, my apologies. But, that being the case, he cant claim the record!!

Sorry, maths isn’t a problem for me, fat fingers are. Yep, 23 including the pass test. I almost hope Peter is right and it is the same person with 50 attempts. The thought of two people so shockingly bad on the roads together is worrying.
Mind you, 50 x (whatever today’s test fee is) - Can I borrow a tenner please, as you must have money to burn.

Firstly you have spent more than you’ll earn for a bloody long time to pass a test you’ve obviously struggled with.
Congratulations on the pass.

Is the 23 just for class 1 or both
Morning all I just struggled with reverse and gears. I passed in 2012. My driving improved a lot now. I passed class 2 2nd time. And class 1 lost count but I passed got standing ovation from examiners at wetherby test centre. I go in there sometimes to take wagon to test.

I passed my car test in 2003 in 2 tests, also I wanted my class 1 to get away from taxi driving. In Wakefield Asians people are obsessed with taxis. I passed my class 2 worked for brakes, BFp, 3663, then I did that for three years.
I am working about 4 to 5 days a week. So I am happy. Also my dad was a taxi driver.
