I did in a car about 12 years ago. It was almost empty and I put £20 of unleaded in. Didn't realise until 5 miles up road when it got a little juddery. All I did was fill the rest of tank up with another £20 of diesel carried on driving and never had a problem afterwards

I did the same, luckily I only put £15 in my car, once the diesel had gone and petrol was in the system, it got a bit juddery, like you I filled it with diesel and ran the tank dry and filled it up with diesel again. Funny thing was the car ran even better as the petrol dissolved all the deposits in the engine.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's "art" and "inspiring" but when I do it I'm "drunk" and "not welcome at the pub anymore"?

Are we talking unleaded in car or truck tank? Not sure what the latter eould make of it.

300L of Adblue in diesel tank can be interesting too (no, not me). :)
All speiling mistuks are deliberate, honest.
