Desperately trying to get figures together to see if it’s worth going self employed, got insurance figure, road tax figures approx fuel figures and wages. Can anyone out there tell me how to work out tax figures, eg What % of your year end profit goes in tax.

would be trading as a sole trader.
Owner Drivers:
I think we must be getting this wrong - you make a profit at the end of the year
dont know yet, still in the enquiry stage.
Make a profit and tax/NI office will want 30-35%. Make sure you claim ALL your allowances, they can save you loads!
