Applying for a operators licence !!HELP!!I am applying for a operators licence shortly. I have the finance available for one truck which is £8000, but I haven’t the cash available for another additional vehicle as I want to have the space for 2 trucks on my licence? Is there a way around this, credit card or overdraft, or does 8000 cover 2 spaces for trucks on my licence? Thanks
Re: Applying for a operators licence !!HELP!!You need to show £8k for the first vehicle and £4450 for the second vehicle. This has to be shown as available funds in a bank account or credit card in the the name of the entity applying for the licence - So if your company is called Smith Transport Ltd then that is the name of the account.
This is a link to the latest advice on funding. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... -13.12.pdf It is a tight criteria with no way round it.
Re: Applying for a operators licence !!HELP!!Ok, Is it ok to have the 8000 in the bank account and have the other 4000 on a credit card?
