Hi, any idea engine goes to limp mode occasionally, with malfunction message, after restart its fine for days…
Keeping enough adblu in? and remebering to only fill the adblue when it gets down a bit?..ie don’t top the adblu up every day.
Might be worth switching it off at the main isolator for a while to have a reset, but only after allowing the adblu pump to clear the nozzle…so about 10 seconds after you shut the engine down.
Every MAN i’ve driven has gone through all the malfunction screen messages every now and again, i’ve just switched the ignition off and waited about 20 secs before restarting and its usually fine then, can’t say had one go into limp mode yet, but i know if the adblu gets low it will reduce power, and if you top up too often so the gauge barely moves the ecu presumably assumes no adblu being used and puts up a malfunction.
adBlue is never full as tank is too small, but thank you for suggestion it may be something related…
