That will include a few mega firms like Eddie , some long standing firms, a few people that got lucky like Albion trucking and then the other 9500 are either one man bands making a living or licenses on ice.

IIRC, haulage is the second most likely business to fail after restaurants. You have to know some costs before going into it, you need a customer and use haulage exchange for back loads only.
