Need a trailer moved Chester to Andover

I’m after someone to take a trailer from Chester to Andover, needs to be done asap and I’m looking for recommendations for someone who could do it.

I could do it on Thursday or Friday this week - £830 + VAT.

Christ, £4.35 per mile. The boat shifting business must be good if punters are paying that rate!

Can it be pulled or does it have to go lo-loader?

Would you object to a load going on it on the way down. (It could reduce the cost).

When can the trailer be collected and delivered?

If it can be done loaded then a Barron Hod load to the coop would cut cost down

Jesus Christ, a haulage company trying to drive the price down, no wonder the industry is going to the dogs

Yeah, it could. I wouldn’t pay that sort of price for moving an empty trailer. Its more cost effective to send a solo tractor to pick it up. If the OP wants it moved but will let an operator load it down, then it makes sense that the cost gets offset a bit, otherwise then it is big dollar and hardly worth it because of all the Solo running but you do have to ask. Chester is Boalloy country, so it could be a brand spanking new trailer. Dont want that delivered pre-scratched by some muppet with a counterbalance license.
