Any idea what the xf 480 / 510 do MPG & adblue trunking ave weight 23 to 31 tonnes?
The answer to that is as long as a piece of string …It all depends on axle configuration ,does it have all the stupid bling ie light bars etc …Type of trailer and load is a hugh factor is it nice and aero dynamic and close to the cab?? And the terrain it will be on …ie Norfolk where it is nice and flat ,or hilly highlands ,percentage of motorway to town /country driving …And obviously the driver has a massive influence on fuel consumption,
You will be able to work out an average from what people get …Best way is to see if you can get a demo for a week
I have a 510 ssc , pulling skelly , never more than, 31ish top weight, only empty containers, but heavy hiab, 68 t/metre, average, 8.5 to 9mpg, all over UK, If that helps.
