Put my tacho on break at 18.00 been here 2 hours now decided to call it a day,if I pull my card does my daily rest start now or at 18.00,do I leave my card in or take it out thanks

The act of ejecting the card is other work so if you leave it alone rest will have started at 1800
Not sure if you have to do an end of shift thing with the card though because if you do then doing that is other work …hmmmm 
A bit late for it now but leave it in for another hour to get 3 in then take 9 off on a split.
