Iveco engine not running

hi just a question about an Iveco 6 wheel truck with rear mounted crane that unfortunately sat on its arse, back on terra firma and the engine oil put back in the right place etc, the vehicle starts and runs but only on tick over, any movement of the throttle and the engine dies, tried bleeding the system etc, checked the wiring, all to no avail, just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem, no children or animals hurt and unfortunate for the haulier whose yard it was in as it was not their motor,

Not working correctly is an iveco default setting.

Allow a day. Iveco 24-hour Service means exactly that: they’ll take 24-hours to reach you  Robert

Throttle position sensor fault? Have you had it on a diagnostics machine?

Is everything as it should be with the crane.? Are the legs fully retracted, crane properly stowed and PTO disengaged?. On some crane trucks any or all of the above can prevent the engine from going beyond tick over until the sensors tell the EU that thing are where they should be.

I had a similar problem with a renualt once, engine would only idle and when the hrotle was pressed it died, turned out to be jammed in gear. May just be worth checking you are definitely in neutral etc. We run ivecos but havent had this before
