Euro 5 & new levy

Only a madman would consider buying any euro6 truck outright, they are unreliable and cost a fortune to fix when they go wrong, not if but when!
If you must lease/rent etc has got to be the only safe way.

We have about 40 maybe 50 of the things and they are all turning into boomerang trucks, some dont even make it back from the dealer before breaking down again.
Its just like when Euro4 first came out and it took years for the techs to get their heads around what goes wrong and how to fix it, so they are still learning on the Euro6 versions.

Ps our drivers would love 360bhp :grimacing:

Only this morning driver put adblue in the derv tank and made it all of 500 yards before the engine stopped, thats going to cost a pretty penny.
Obviously the e4/5 models would also stop running in the same circumstances, the difference with e6 is its common rail and they are fragile at the best of times, so we could be talking high pressure pumps and injectors, even if a drain refill/bleed gets it running the contamination will casue trouble in the future.
