My boss here does this buys preused strips them down does things up the way he wants and runs them ,then repeat no corners cut. he has just bought two yr old units and recons they will be gone in 10yrs unlike the 89–99s he runs.picture is my old btrain unit((99) rebuilt engine, chasis stripped repainted 5th wheel away (airlines etc behind cab) new body and tipping gear seats,mats ,like new inside.,since picture front wheels /tanks have been polished up. I expect it to last me 9yrs until I retire.

yup… not a lot off call for tippers in wintertime on the prairies at -20c + (well not at the price my boss would charge for damage caused) so he has a couple on limestone ,it comes out o the box well ,lots o snow they don’t move , and he has 3 months to get things his way.
