My mate drives one and tells me that he can get 10mpg when doing European (fridge &tautline work ) down to 7mpg when in uk same work not always 44t
About 8/9 mpg. But all the time, even when empty the mpg hardly improves so if you’re running heavily loaded most of time they work great but get very expensive compared to other trucks if you did a lot of empty running. On long European runs I regularly got into top five drivers for fuel at Virginia along with 480’s/500’s etc.
I should also point out I don’t have a particularly heavy right foot.

I was simply pointing out that my fuel consumption figures were for someone who didn’t floor it everywhere rather than a comment on anyone else
