Scottish Ferries

I have been quoting for some work, but I need some advice with the Scottish Ferries, What is the best way of booking or getting prices for them?? Any advice would be great.

Many thanks in advance

Assuming you’re talking about west coast ferries contact Caledonian Macbrayne on 0800 066 5000. As a very rough guide an artic and trailer (16.5m) return ticket from Ardrossan to Brodick (55 minute crossing) is about £530 and an 18ton rigid (11m) is around £300. They charge by the length, not the weight.

Great, thanks for your help

I can’t post the link (advertising rules), but can I suggest ?

Mod’s edit:
The link and the advert are covered by the same rule, but the poster below has suggested it as a recommendation, so that’s OK. dd.

Just to keep it balanced I’ve used Aztek http://www.aztekintl.com/ and Harbour Shipping in the past when I booked ferries, both very good, not sure if Aztek do the Scottish Ferries, the bloke I mostly work for these days seems to uses Freightlink https://www.freightlink.co.uk/ for the routes he doesn’t have accounts for, so I assume they do a decent job. Well I’ve never been stuck waiting for a boat they’ve booked me on.
