Apparently the above on my 13 litre FH is life expired and is pumping oil into the intercooler. This became obvious when oil seeped out of a split in the cooler. Volvo want £444 for the filter plus an hour to fit but are replacing the intercooler FOC under their driveline warranty… While I wait at home for it to be done just wondered is this a common occurance?! Unit has done 525k

I’ve not had to replace one on any of my 13 litre engines. The pipe from the rocker cover tends to split though
