Cheap skelly for you container bods

I dunno if it’s that much of a bargain or not but http://www.witham-sv.com/infopage.php?ID=423&Overide=1 looks cheap to me. Is there much demand for container work with a trailer that short?

Paul

Not that much demand for 20’ skelly’s, it tends to be the big fleets that buy 'em when they do sell.
They can leave 'em on a job while being loaded & the driver can go & do another job.

It’s not that cheap either I bought a 20-40 slider of the same vintage for 8,000 (no pound sign on my pda phone I’ll edit it when I get home ) & that had ally wheels, lifting front axle & steering rear axle,It’s also a lot More versatile

got a mate who did boxes for about ten year up until 2003 he had a twenty foot with a 4x2 and a forty foot slider on a 6x2, reckoned the the 4x2 with the twenty foot earned more money in the long run with lower fuel and maintanence, perhaps different now with a lot more at it.
