Dart Tags

I’ve just been looking at the mounting instructions for my new Dart Tags.
The paperwork says mount them as low in the screen as possible.
A few months ago, I had problems with one at the barriers, and a guy came out to me and told me to hold it high up in the screen as possible - as the sensors are about 5 meters in the air.
Conflicting info - but who’s right?

Don’t know who is right, but I’ve always had mine mounted at the bottom centre of the windscreen and have never had any problems.

Mine are all mounted at the bottom in the middle, never had any probs.

mounted at the bottom of the sceen behind the wipers never a problem.

Must just be me and that muppet who gave me a rollocking then…
