Waste of £650, we fitted one to a Magnum last year,after the air con packed in, it is what it say’s, air cooler, wont cool the cab in hot weather, a 24 volt fan on the dash does the same job.
It is cheap and not a lot of good, all it is, is a band of straw inside the pod that has water sprayed onto it and the fan supposedly blows cool air into cab, the water pumps are noisy, 2 of them, one to pump water in and one out, its like having a fridge trailer on and starting and stopping all night.
Topping up with water is a pain, we had to do top it up every couple of days and after a month or so the water pipes were green with algi.
It will keep you cool at night (when sun has gone) spend an extra £300-£400 and get the proper air con pod.
