He said that this Leyland PS1 Furniture van on a PSV chassis was originally a touring coach.

Furniture wagons on PSV chassis were not unusual in the 50s and 60s - Bedford SB3 “integrals” for instance.
Hi ParkRoyal, I also posted the Stringfellow Bros photo on a local forum, and got a reply
to say that the Leyland PS1 was new to Smiths Tours, Wigan, still trading today as
Shearings Holidays, Head Office on Miry Lane, near the Town Centre. Regards, Ray.
