Luis Gordons in Maidstone which was in Hart Street round by the market which obviously by now been redeveloped.
Gordons were the Uk agents for Domeqc sherry.
The sherry was delivered into the Maidstone premesis by tanker which had loaded direct of the boat in Newhaven docks , it was bottled on site in Maidstone and distributed from there.
Erf B series OKP 731R brings a tank load in whilst WKO 72S has reloaded bottled sherry for distribution.
This job sadly came to an end when a ruling came in that the sherry had to be bottled in its country of origin.
