As a kid i remember going with my Dad when he worked for the MMB in chadderton.We used to go to farms and pick up churns of milk then take them to the dairy.This would have been in the mid seventies…does anyone have any pics of the wagons?My Dad drove a ford d series and any pics or stories would bring back some great memories!

I worked in the garage at MMB chadderton from 1973 until 1976 when it closed.Still knock about with Roy Jones one off the ex drivers.A bloke called George Parson was yard superviser at the time along with a old driver called Cyril.
One or too others I remember Jim Diamond Barry & Bill Wildman The Taylor brothers (4got first names)George Illingworth (mechanic with me)Les Grimes.Transport Manager was Harry Lawson he was based at wilmslow depot then a scottish lad took over from him, 4got his name.
Hi Al just remembered the managers name who took over from Harry Lawson it was a sottish bloke his 2nd name was Convoy prehaps your dad will know him.
