Was out and about on my motorbike while being on furlough, went down the valley from Alston to Rookhope past the old leadmine to the remains of the Rookhope viaduct. Got me thinking, I seem to remember a picture maybe in one of Bob Tucks books,of ERF eight wheeler tankers that ran from there to Avonmouth I think? Just wondering if anyone has got the book with the picture in it
