N/Africa film just like running in the 70s, good watch

I found this on you tube, Agadir to Dakar Its not much different to how we ran in the 70s/80s out to the M/E. Same problems same moans. The border crossings, delay delay delay. A good film well worth a watch.

Hi PASTTRUCKING, thanks for posting that as I have never seen it before.
After I had watched it a link came up for a video of some guys going across Africa in 1959 :open_mouth:
I think that it is well worth a look and if you read some of the comments you will see that a number of people were asking if anybody knows the whereabouts of that Bedford, U.K. registration number 875 DAR, maybe somebody on Trucknet might know.

I was going through some of my old photos a couple of weeks ago and there were a couple that I wasn’t exactly sure where I had taken them 44 years ago and now it’s just reminded me when I got to 22mins, 40 secs.
With many thanks to Tony Fleming for making the video.

I’d have thought it should be the old Ford that ‘couldn’t take the strain’ not the Land Rover. Is that you Steve doing the repairs?
