Some interesting posts however the noise we were talking of was only while 2 lorries were side by side passing .I can’t say I noticed any strange noises when I was overtaking everything Dan?

With Kays setting the limiter at 52 mph you are possibly correct Dan, I could achieve that easily with another gear still to go at! 
Noises; rattling Spicer gearboxes, moaning Reiver transfer boxes, Cargo and Clydesdale drivers false teeth clanking together.
