Wigan Transport Companies

Robert Baillie Transport from Horndean and Portsmouth had a very busy depot in Wigan
from 1965 until 1985. Their main source of traffic was fresh produce from Guernsey,
Brittany, Jamaica, and Windward Islands. This ERF artic is loaded with bananas from
Jamaica, en route to the ripening rooms beneath Piccadilly Railway Station in Manchester.

Regards, Ray Smyth.
